What to know about your ideal blood sugar levels
Blood sugar (or glucose levels) have an optimal range for the best performance of your brain, heart, and other organs.
The range can depend on your age, other medical conditions, and whether you have memory problems or not.
However, in general, the ideal range is between 4 to 10 mmol/L, with your 3 month average (known as HbA1C) from 6.5-7.5% if you are diabetic, or 5.7% if you are not.
There are things you can do to keep your blood sugar in the best range for optimal longevity & brain health, and even cure diabetes.
